I spray paint all the base coats on my terrain pieces. It is a much quicker way the painting on, and isn't too much more expensive.

I know Grant...already tried that one time. Ruined some hard work so I hope I won't repeat it. I have covered the most foam in sand and PVA glue. Think it should do the trick :)

Meant to add to my previous post, I use water based acrylic sprays, such as the humbrol ones, or as already pointed out solvent based sprays will destroy the foam.
