Foundry Celts

Postby johnm » Mon Nov 17, 2008 6:29 pm

Do your celts fit in with the old Foundry Celts, the only reason I ask is that I've been planning to mix in a few of their command figures with my Celtic warbands.Don't worry I'll be buying lots of your Celts to make up the bulk of my units. ;)John

Hiya, I have some of the foundry celtic chieftains, I decided to use one of them as a unit leader. To be honest, he's a bit on the small side.

I have seen some wonderful plastic conversions that Mark Farr has done, very inspirational, I will doing my own as soon as I finish the unit I am currently working on.

Maybe Mark could post some pics?

cheers

Matt

Yes indeed - Matt's right! I'll be taking pics of Marks conversions this week and expect to see them in a newsletter very soon.

Gareth and Mark are also going to be starting threads on our foirums talking about the armies they're collecting and will keep them going with pics and commentary.

Cheers

Paul

Foundry Celts

That's a good idea Paul. I look forward to seeing them appear on a weekly basis. That way it might stir me to get a move on with some of mine. If my bins weren't so dodgy I'd be a faster painter - I just need to be able to see the blighters to dab the paint on in the right places.
