New facebook history page - Teenage Europe

Postby david1234 » Sun Oct 09, 2011 8:29 pm

Hiya all,

I admit this post is a shameless plug  so please bear with me. I have set up a facebook page to allow me to discuss events in Europe in the late 1800s and early 1900s, i.e., the origins of the First World War - so there are dreadnoughts, military history, etc. I'm also talking about domestic politics in Britain as well in this period.

If this sounds like your cup of tea, please come and have a look at 'Teenage Europe' on facebook. I'd especially appreciate any input people want to contribute as I would like to make my page a place where people can feel comfortable to contribute ideas and take new ones away.

If anyone gets especially lost and can't find my page by searching Teenage Europe then here is a handy link:

facebook.com/Teenageeurope

I look forward to seeing a few of you chaps on the page!

The map is a bit off. There are pieces missing from Russia and Germany, and there appears to be a country called "Poland". :D

You are quite right! Finding an image worthy map for a profile picture is a bit hard, so I had to compromise... But I will be changing that shortly as it's still in development.

So yes, you are quite right! ;)

;)

Also, I've just been discussing invasion-scare literature in Britain - 'The thirty nine steps' and 'The riddle of the sands'. Explore, like and share.
