Hi guys, been out of the hobby for a few years and got the itch to start painting and possibly gaming again.
As I'm so out of practice, I bought the French command sprue rather than buy a whole box set just to practice on a couple of figures and see if my skills are up to scratch. I just wanted to know if the painting guide included in the box is available to purchase separately?

Actually, already thinking about this after seeing an example of the Perry box set painted that way. Plan is to put together 2 or 3 battalions at first and one of those will probably be Swiss.
Fingers crossed my paints will turn up this week and I can have a bit of a play with the samples I have. Been reading a few painting blogs and things have changed quite a bit, no army painter or dipping the last time I held a brush. Will be interesting finding a method that works for me again.
I've been reading that blog, Saxon Dog and a couple of others and they're quite interesting, seen some great results with that method. Certainly something for me to think about as I was never the fastest painter and anything that helps me get a unit together more quickly has to be worth a try!
