"Cheap" KGN

Postby Colonel White » Thu Oct 06, 2011 11:07 am

For those of you who are thinking of getting into KGN but baulked at the price (quite rightly so IMO) now could be a good time to buy.
I have recd a Newsletter this morning but this is the first chance I have had to post, so apologies for the delay.

However all the rulesbooks including KGN are available for a limited time only at half price. Therefore KGN would cost you £24.00 plus postage.

THe offer also extends to the German WW2 Decal sheet as well which I have ordered another sheet as I quickly ran out of 7s and 8s!

The £3 a sheet on those 20mm WW2 decals is a fantastic price, buy buy buy.

I will confess to being tempted - but the new Bolt Action rules for next year are where I will put my money.

I've wanted the BA figures for some time, but without a decent set of rules, have t been able to justify. No longer! Warlord wins, even with the sale.

Sight unseen? Personally I like to flick through a set of rules before I buy.

Nothing wrong with picking scale aesthetic, though Justin. Games are secondary for most folk.

And in my life Mr P and The Cavatore haven't let me down yet.

Everything I buy is sight unseen! I live in central Alberta. GW is easy to access but historicals not so much.

I agree with Parus Ater - Mssrs. P and Co. have been solid for the last 16 years of my hobby career - and based on BP/HC - Sold! :)

Well, I did take advantage of the WHH sale - to order Over the Top. It has Vimy Ridge in it.

When it comes to both RP and AC, I have total faith in them when it copmes to rules sets for Ancients and the Horse and Musket era.

Howver when it comes to WW2 I have just a niggling little doubt creeping in as neither are reknown for the association with WW2 or WW2 rules unless I have got this wrong.

THerefore I am playing a waiting game and hope to see a couple of reviews before I make my mind up about the Bolto Action Rules.
