@ Scott - I follow both yours and Saxondog's website - check them daily!

Your not so secret admirer,

Grant
:)

ps - here's a stand of my non-highlighted, Dark Tone brushed-on Army Painter. I am going to highlight the next regiment! I swear!

Excellent work on that command stand. Even without the highlight the results are solid and would look great on the game table. You've found a good blue that works well with the AP. Looking forward to seeing how far you take the technique.

Thanks Scott!

Next round of Napoleonics get highlighting. I built my last regiment of Westphalians without the Army Shade, so looking forward to a new batch. Finishing up some SYW 6mm right now - too afraid to AP them, they are just getting Vallejo Wash instead.

Yes I agree The Army Painter "Dip" is a very useful tool in the painters armoury. I like to bet these weren't dunked in the can either! I have added further highlights to minis in the past and got very good results easily on par with the results I have obtained with traditional methods but with less time spent on the model.

Just to prove how good the product is you can see many imitiations on the market with similar claims. ;)

Those look great! AP makes life easy. Good choice of base colours for the Strong Tone.
