ECW Baldrick

Postby brownpants » Wed Aug 31, 2011 3:02 pm

Further to the other thread yesterday, and just for a laugh...

What would a 17th century Baldrick look like?

Would he be a Pikeman, Musketeer, Cavalry trooper?

What distinctive crap would he be carrying around with himself?

What cunning plans would he have?

If I'm inspired, i might break out the green stuff and try some converting!

Little known comic relief special.

Mikeland's link gives the only possible answer, no soldier, just a servant.

Like the ones of the 4 musketeers. But no hero should do without.

Rumours that Rupert's cavalry at Naseby was trying to engage some more servants of Baldrick quality in the Parliament camp seem to be unfounded. Instead a certain Captain B. led the attack , misled by the typical Baldrick description of the countryside where his pig farming father lived.

A regiment of Baldricks could wreak havoc... on his own side!

Being really sad, I of course, thought you meant a belt for suspending a sword when reading the thread title :(

I'm sure one of the sculptors out there has done the "Great War 1914 - 1917" version.
Boy, it sure would be nice if we had some grenades, don't you think?
