Search does not work for old posts. Example: A search for 'assault troops' should list this thread.

My guess is that the admins have to do some magic to rebuild the search index.

This is due to the conversion of the data when we moved. Andy will be rectifying this for us tomorrow - the forums will be locked (read only) for about 45 mins sometime as a result.

I have seen this error a few times recently on the forum:

General Error

SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Too many connections [1040]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

You may need to increase max_connections in the MySQL settings.

Funnily enough our developer, Andy said the same thing about an hour ago. I've just requested the provider do just that.
