For some reason my home PC seems to rather dislike the Javascripting used for the forums^ Hence the Deja vu thread. Had to set up my other computer as I could not be bothered to updated the old one... Anyhowm.I have managed to take some pictures of 12 British Line and a Rifleman as my first painted Nap's! Whilst again they don't compare to the diligence and time given to Cubsters models, I have around 250+ Infantry to get through and I think I would be safe in saying the paint quality is ok and a good enough standard.

Well it has certainly been a long time since my last post.
Unfortunately I became heavily distracted with a social life... poor dedication to my hobbie I know! However I have just sparked of another idea for my Napoleonic's. A DIORAMA!!!!
I have already created a 3 by 2 ft (ish) board from MDF, fully flocked and textured, with an addition of one or two trees all ready and waiting for me to get cracking with my painting! My previous paint jobs have been based on time saving, with little to no highlighting or washing.
I intend to change that for my upcoming Diorama, and get some good painting under my belt.
My Concept is a British firing line pouring fire into a MASSIVE French attack column. By massive I mean a minimum of however many model I can actually fit on the entire board ;] The British line itself will be compromised of 2 x line battalions, and a highlander battalion with officers milling around and the odd green jacket. For the French I have around 4-5(200) Perry line infantry and 120 Old Guard with mounted officers. I will deploy a small Voltiguer skirmish line with the column trudging forward.
Hopefully I can grab some casualties from the perry range to improve on the realism of the diorama, but overall the scale should be fairly big. I shall post images when I can of the board without models, as for the time this will take me, well were looking at years! -Jumping into the Deep End once again, Luvvo out!
There is a festival this weekend so unfortunately I shall be partaking in much drinking of cider and various other alcoholic beverages! To the dissapointment of my British regiments that need painting!
However I have had a degree of progress with putting together my battalions and painted my first Victrix/perry Highlander. Enjoy.
The French have yet to arrive. Beware the Columns. There going to be bloody massive!
