ROMAN AUXILIARY COMMAND

Postby Phil » Fri Mar 25, 2011 7:18 pm

Hi Guys,Having just finished painting the new Roman Auxiliary Command, I thought I'd just gloat a bit... They're bloomin' gorgeous models and will make the plastic auxiliary boxed set a far more attractive purchase.  They paint up really well, and look great alongside the plastics.Phil

ROMAN AUXILIARY COMMAND

Postby Biggus Dickus » Fri Mar 25, 2011 9:20 pm

Hi Phil, will they be available to purchase seperately for all those that already have a box or 2 of auxiliaries? I really like the poses, it will certainly add more variety to any Roman unit

ROMAN AUXILIARY COMMAND

Postby novaesium » Sat Mar 26, 2011 3:05 pm

Well, I do hope they will be available for purchase on their own sooner rather than later.  I already have all the auxillaries I need, but would love to buy a couple of the command figures.

I'm assuming these are the command figures that come with the box of plastic Auxillia? Cheers!Larry

Does seem like a bum deal when you already have purchased enough of the plastic Auxiliary boxes, then now have to fork out to buy more if you want the command figures. Just smacks of money grabbing marketing to boost sales, especially when there isn't definitive answer of if you will be able to purchase them on their own at some point.

ROMAN AUXILIARY COMMAND

Postby Correus » Mon Mar 28, 2011 9:52 am

Okay, now I'm confused.... Confused There are two different boxes of Auxilia - one plastic and one metal.  Which kit is Phil referring too? I have two boxes on the way.  I bought these two boxes off eBay for a sweet deal and the guy said they were plastic.  The description of the ones he sold me says it includes the command.  I verified they were plastic and all.  However, when I look on the WG web site it looks like the plastic ones do not come with command. Also, what's the difference between the ones Phil painted and the Auxilia Command set available for £4? Cheers,Larry

Presumably the figures referred to are those previewed here;http://www.warlordgames.co.uk/?p=10848Can be accessed by clicking the link to the left under latest news.Seems these are to be added to the plastic auxillary set;http://shop.warlordgames.co.uk.....1945-p.aspCommand to go with this is currently available seperately;http://shop.warlordgames.co.uk.....-181-p.asp
