SYW Army Lists

Postby James Manto » Thu Apr 08, 2010 10:12 am

Hello

Anyone have any thoughts on special rules for SYW armies. Specifically the Prussians and the French and Reichsarmee (no Austrians to fight currently I'm afraid).

I suppose the Reichsarmee could get saddled with really crap staff ratings. give the Prussians better staff and drill. Freikorps would get the 'marauder' rule. any other thoughts?

thanks. I tried to search the topics but somehow missed this one.

some good ideas. Not sure I agree with all of them but it's a start.

I have read of squares being used in the period by rear guards etc.
