Dumb question on Scots Battalia...

Postby potter » Sat Oct 16, 2010 3:26 pm

OK, I chose Covenanters only as I had a glut of grey paint but don't say anything to the Scots about that...Wink ...so I've got a small(ish) Covenanter force growing slowly, 50+Infantry plus a detachment of Dragoons on loan from that nice Mr Cromwell (in my world at least), so far... I'd like to expand them further with cannon, some converted mounted staff and more infantry, and am tempted by the Battalia box which is available again and I missed out on first time round, as it seems like a great deal. Thing is, does it include enough bonnets for all the Infantry, and the white metal command from the regular sets? I'm not that fussed about the commands tbh, as I quite like the plastic command figs to go with my plastic figs, and the metal ones with my firelocks/dragoons/forlorn hope I'm working on also. I'm not being picky as it is an exceptional deal, I'd just like to know how many bonnet packs I'd need to order at the same time as a Battalia, rather than having getting the Battalia then having to wait until my bonnets arrive....

Do American buyers have them supplied with hoods instead of bonnets?

I'd suggest you get it soon then - we don't have many and they're selling well.I'd hate for Santa to be giving you an IOU on the big day...Cheers,Paul

There are about enough bonnets in the box.  But if you are short, the plasitic sprue also has berrets that can easily be modified to be scots bonnets, not the pepper
