Come on guys the forum tells you how many unread topics there are you click on the tab 'New/Recently Updated Topics' and there they are, in red so there easy to see. Is that really so difficult? Confused

Not difficult, just less convenient. The point is that the upgrade/new software were to improve the service and it hasn't done that. The things you mention were there on the original. What is better are the little boxes at the top which you can click on if you have subscribed to or are watching a topic. That brings up a list of all the ones you are showing interest in and can go straight to them. The bit everyone misses is the old front page that had all the new topics listed and you could go straight to the ones that interested you without trawling through all the sub forums to find them. Al

Not difficult, just inconvenient. The bit everyone is missing is the old front page which listed the new posts and you could go straight to those that were of interest to youwithout trawling through all the sub forums to see what has been posted. The subscription and watched threads now work because you can see that someone has replied in the little box at the top. When you click on the box it brings up a list of the topics you have marked and you can go straight to the appropriate one. However, the email notification doesn't work. If this is just a temporary fix until a new site is done, as Cubster suggests, then it will have to do and that is fine. If so then, hopefully, all these comments will help the web designer to come up with a fantastic new forum site. Al

SP - I have no idea, I can barely send an email let alone tinker with software. Perhaps it's got something to do with that big cuddly bald man who calls himself my 'Sugar Daddy' and buys me jewellery.

OK, Having found the little 'search new/recently updated topics' bar at the bottom i at least don't have to trawl through all the sub menus as I thought was necessary before.  And that function is better than the old forum in that i don't have to go back to the main page to read the next thread.  So i do like that!

I'm with you on that one BigMike you read the latests posts then click on the tab at the bottom of the page and move directly to the next thread. It seems this facility was always there but I never used it because I relied on the front page like everyone else.
