New figure ranges in plastic

Postby Mr Happy » Fri Dec 11, 2009 8:12 am

Marlburian for me please. Similar to the old Foundry range in so much as generic infantry and h'officers rather than nation specific like Front Rank. Boring marching only, plus plastic "generic" line cavalry (and artillery would be nice, but RoI may be an issue)

Could do nation specific Grenadiers in metal, but the generic plastic cavalry and infantry would cover so much of what is needed for the base of any army.

Without so much as a damn your eyes

I agree - Plastic Marlborough waould be awesome - especially given how big the armies were!

On another topic - the Perry Wars of the Roses look stunning - I sense another heavy defeat for my bank balence!

A York! A York!

Crusades would be nice but between them Perry and Gripping Beast already give good coverage for Richard vs. Saladin era.

By own preference would be French Indian wars but realising these are a minority interest then 7 Years War, with a few french Indian 'extras' then added.

I was looking for a new colonial period a few months back and it was only then it twigged that while the Sudan , Zulu Wars and darkest Africa are fairly well catered for, not very much else is. North West Frontier only ancient Foundry and Old Glory, Indian Mutiny even less.

Some Napoleonic artillery, horse and foot would be nice. And some French Young and Old Guard. Maybe in metal rather than in plastic though as I find it is much nicer to paint.

Plus, I would like to second the person who suggested plastic Austrian, Prussian and Russian infantry and cavalry.

Please!
