I always paint my standard bearers baldrics ;)
If I had spent the time painting them the least I would charge is £5 a figure.....so at £40 they are quite reasonable for dipped figures.

Paint job doesn't look too bad from the photo's....I have seen a lot worse...including my own from a few years ago ;)

I'll agree, that works out at 66p per figure above retail.

Ha! Yeah, what you'd charge for your time and what you'll get on eBay don't often see eye to eye. If the paintjob is okay for gaming, you may get bidders happy to grab and go for their wargames. Just a touch worse and someone is thinking about the inconvenience of stripping and repainting, so you'd be lucky to get RRP.

That's why i don't activly paint units to sell on ebay....People are only interested in buying stuff for as little as possible on there, truth be told once you add paint to them they devalue...unless you are a pro, you'd be lucky to get what you paid for them so yeah agree whole heartidly....I'm one of those who look out for painted bargins to strip down
So really for wargaming purposes, and if you either can't paint yourself or don't have the time, i think they are pretty good value on that basis...but not really worth the time to sit down and paint to sell at 66p! I hope he/she gets his/her money...it's pretty ruthless on there.

Well you can be sure those aren't mine... Mine aren't even close to those standards. But part of the fun in miniatures, in my opinion at least, is the painting and when you look at them you remember the processes that it took to get them there and the thought that went into every brush stroke.
