Last weekend at Tactica I was told that there are no planned releases for the Romans in the next time.

I must agree, BD. I do look at everything, and I did find the gunfight lights rather interesting. Sadly these would be of no use in ancient times. I have imagined Neo-Romans though.... Dreams...

Don't despair!

The guys at the shows aren't in the loop as to what all our plans are for releases - I try to keep much of that close to my chest as plans change all the time. They only know the more immediate stuff.

With the Pike & Shotte rulebook not being far away and the Bolt Action project coming to fruition we do have other areas we're trying to concentrate on at the moment but we are not going to forget Romans, Barbarians, etc. When John and myself started Warlord we made each other a solemn promise that if we started a range we would not leave gaps in it - nothing worse than starting an army and then having to mix in another manufacturers models and getting a not altogether uniform-looking army. It may take a while to make everything but we'll keep on bringing out new stuff for every army we do.

We certainly do have more Romans in the plan and we always will - everyone loves a Roman and we're no different.

@Stuart...if memory serves me right its a Lokian(?) battle ship flying over. The Trigan Empire was a comic strip in Look and Learn magazine.
