I have to agree with this! There's just something about the feel of a metal mini to the hand.

Please, please, please don't take this wrong WG guys, I prefer metal, but your plastic sculpts are amazing, I'm just having trouble adjusting to them as opposed to metal. I'm always afraid of breakage!

Might I suggest making signifer standards in metal? How hard would it be to create the pila in metal and maintan the same look and dimensions of plastic versions?

Errr.... Noooooooooo! Have you had a broken metal standard! The one for my metal command in the Auxillaries broke... Nearly impossible to repair! At least plastics it's just a dab of liquid polly, or you can cut down the parts and re attache htem to a new pole, and jobs a good un! But repairing that metal one was no fun. Also I hate the way metal spears never seem to get fully straight, and bend and fleck the paint off.

Of course each to their own, I see advantages of both metal and plastics. But I would love to see plastic Celtic horsemen, and chariots. It is all down to personal choice!

True - but when you want 10 of them it becomes a bit pricey and you end up with a lot of other standards.

Whilst we're on the subject of standards...

The issue with some of the plastic legionary signums being weak in the middle ofn the shaft has been fixed. All castings going forward will have the improved signum on and the problem will have goine away.
