LaughLOLI must admit to my fault that I had not caught the possibilities when I read BD answer about the "showing..."Cubster, one pint for you, if we ever happen to meet!Just made me laugh, that was a good one...

One of The Heavy Cavalry troop was a spare, odd figure i picked up from somewhere and i don't know what company made him...so he was made to ride at the back!....his head wasn't what i wanted....So eventually his time came and he got his bonce hacked off like so many in my army...and replaced with a new warlord one.....hope you all like him a bit more now..........so just to clarify his body isn't warlord........but his head is in the right place ;) .......Cheesey i know!

Painful surgery, but worth it...
By the way are the folks at warlords having to pull double shifts just to keep you supplied with enough attic helmeted heads?? :D ;)

How did you do the bronze armour? I can never seem to get decent coverage with gold paint.

BigMike....it is the rather fantastic Vallejo old gold 792....I normal paint over a light brown first, but this stuff is so good it doesn't need a brown undercoat really, one thing though you have to keep stiring it, but it is worth it. best paint i have ever used....then i use a brown wash also from Vallejo, but sometimes G.W devlin mud.

Paul and Mike Thanks guys, your comments are much appreciated!

I might adopt that one to supplement my current favourite Gold - Foundry 36B. Be nice to get a wee bit of variety.

8-)

Very nice. Finding the scorpio signum for them was a good touch.
