Hello! I too as you can see from my topic "Roman Legionaries" on this same forum is an avid collector of Roman and all the more 'famous existing brands. But it is normal for me being myself a Roman proud of the history of my city. And 'with great satisfaction that I notice your passion for the history of my people. If I'm not mistaken these are A&A MINIATURES I have only 3 Roman knights of this brand because in Italy does not import more. 'Do you know of any store, of trust and honest , that sells them online (Which uses PayPall as a method of payment)?
Let me finally say that as always your works are very beautiful, sought ,original and inspiration for me.
Ciao and thanks
Enrico

Hi John, in answer to your question...i used the Palmyran Cataphract horses for my heavy Cavalry....but Yes the warlord Sarmation ones would also be fine....they weren't around when I did my Cavalry unit though!.....I think i may well purchase a pack at some point to beef up my little unit! ;)

Enrico, thank you indeed, for your kind words. I am amazed that my modest attempts at painting and modification inspire others, but that is really nice to know! thank you very much.
There are so many people on here who would do a far better job than i could ever dream of doing, so it is very pleasing for me to know that i have a positive effect!
Yes, I have to say i am extremely interested in Roman History, and i collect as many Roman figures and books as I can afford!
To be fair, if it wasn't for the Romans we in England would probably still be living in mud huts!...a slight exaggeration perhaps, but clearly for a time at least, they had a big impact on life here (and still do) and we owe them a great deal to this day! I hope one day to visit Italy, and Rome and see all the historic sites, that would be my dream holiday.

I'll PM you the details for A&A
