P.S
May i ask which bases matt use? 20 or 25 mm?
They look like Games Workshop 20mm slottabases to me, Helmut.
Cheers,
Paul
If they are really 20 mm GW bases, than I suggest a feet to eye level from 27/28 mm.

Oh man, those are really looking good. It'ss be a shame when a ham fisted hack like myself gets a hold of them.
I have to admit, that is some fantastic painting on the shields - I fully expect mine to look hideous...
The GW standard base size is great, as it gives us a scale for the models - they're about a base and a third high, meaning a height of about 26.5mm. The amount of detail packed into these is really impressive, noting the feet and the armour especially.
Overall, I'll be grabbing a box of these ASAP!

I hope the 26,5 is not right. Thats to small for our gaming group and my existing armies :(
Could someone (Paul or Matt) please measure one figure?
It would be not so difficult to do that, taking only 5 minutes of time to do and helping the community to end the spekulations.
To make a comparision photo should be much more difficult as I am thinking.
Regards
Helmut
26.5mm makes them pretty small compared to most 28mm figures? Boy I hope they aren't that tall! They would look like little twerps next to every other figure I own!
Hi Plasticus,
I can confirm that they are not 26.5mm tall!
They are 28mm models as we've mentioned - we went to great lengths to make sure we looked at other manufacturers of Imperial Romans and made sure ours would fit in nicely. For instance, if you have Foundry Imperials our plastics (and metals!) will blend in perfectly).
Whilst we are bringing out a full range of Imperial Romans we are aware that some players will want to make additions to their existing armies.
I hope that clarifies things a bit!.
Cheers,
Paul
Thanks Paul! You should put up some pictures with them standing next to other miniatures!
