fur trim

Postby Stefan » Tue Apr 10, 2012 7:22 pm

Hi all,

a few weeks ago I tried, inspired by carvel, to give my aux´s some cloaks. seemed that the one with the fur was the best, so I practiced a little bit and here is the result.

Wow that centurion with the poniard looks like a right scarey geezer! Really nice work. Well done. :D

Wow! That's impressive! As Carvel says, look forward to seeing them painted up. How did you get the fur effect on the big cloak to make such a neat junction with the smoother "cloth" part? Is this "grey stuff", then? (please?)

thank you guys.
the material is simple modelling clay which hardens within 12 hours and can be painted afterwards. I´ll post a tutorial how I did it next week. it aint that difficult ;)
