IMO can't see any issue/problem WG releasing these, the more plastics the better = of any range/period.Hi C.C……..you are of course, right…….but my daughter has some of the amazons, they aren't great compared with WG or IM but they are the only ones available!!! So I already have some long pikes!! I do a lot of converting to fill the gaps and also to change poses etc so i get used to buying a couple of boxes to get one sometimes………..if you thought the Amazons were bad you should see the Roman cavalry!!! I had my work cut out there, but i couldn't really afford lots of metal ones!*...*I'm sure the Macedonians are fantastic, but they don't get me very excited…I'll just wait and see what's next.
Cheers Marcus Tsmugly I'd like to remind everyone that I did indeed guess these correctly in a previous post.IMO can't see any issue/problem WG releasing these, the more plastics the better = of any range/period.

There is a 200 year gap between most greeks on the market (golden era) and those used in the wars of Alexander. That's like using Napoleonic models in your WWII games. Not quite right, is it? Armour is different. Weapons are different. Hairstyles are different. Ergo, the models are different.Besides, they even come from a different region. I'm not going to start a Macedon: how Greek was it back in the day and how Greek is it nowadays debate, as that turns out to be a rather sensitive point even 2300 years after Alexander's death, but there seems to have been a bigger difference between Macedon and the other Greek city-states than between Corinth and Thebes.Thing is though that IM have been busy with this period a bit already, and were also planning to release an entire Macedon range. Now it was not yet made public, but in the words of Stephen May (dated 6-6-2010):"Macedonians are definately on the list, probably for next year. I just need to do some proper research on them!"
