AWI Order of Battles

I have only quickly scooted around but nothing is jumping out at me...

Can anyone recommend any sites that have the order of battles (with troop numbers) for the AWI.....

Ive that problem too. Its hard to find anything. Ive used wikipedia to get some roughr numbers and troops involved. However I have two WI covering AWI, so I can give you some samples (dont remebers the battle names and dates).

I did a lot of OOB research for the AWI and for many battles I found the official numbers. In Books. A very painstaking work and a lot of money spent in it for old books. That's why you find few in the Internet.

This page is not bad but with a lot of small mistakes. And rarely the detailed numbers are given.

For a battle like Guilford Court house we have the exact day report of HM forces. The simple statement "Battalion" is not enough with a range between 240 and 530 men present there in battalions.

Yes it's the numbers needed to try and plan around making as true as possible to the actual battle and what is needed in the way of minis that I am looking for....

Must admit I have been looking around at ACW, AWI and the Penninsular War online and not had much luck with any. Hmmm, I may take a trip to Waterstones next week while I am off work and see what I can find

read the finding guide first but generally the first 3 numbers eg 778 represent the year so 1778. it can be a bit of a trawl but you can often fin what you are after.
