Seriously though, have you got them ahead of us?

Yep I did. Unfortunately though I have to send them back to John and Paul once I've got them painted :(

(otherwise you wouldn't get to see how great they are!! )

Well great work on them! The Rorke's Drift model - it looks like has pieces of the wall that can be punched out to drag a sergeant through? That's inside.

Yes the can, there's also chunks of walls that can be removed and in the roof there's sections of the thatch that can be removed. the level of detail on it's fantastic.

Lol.

A couple of questions:

1. Is the building fully painted? Is that the way it comes? If so, amazing!

2. When does all this stuff come out?

All will be revealed in next week's newsletter...
Cheers,

I saw Mummy kissing Santa Claus ... underneath his missing toe last night.

A lot of people have suffered severe frostbite in the North Pole.

Hi all,

firstly id like to say ive been a long time browser of this forum and a (very) short time contributor/historical wargamer. I have been awaiting the new anglo-zulu plastics with interest, but I must say that I do like the weight and feel of the metal miniatures.

Can any of you kind people explain to me what are the benefits of plastic miniatures over the metal ones?

Thanks everyone :)

They're cheaper, you tend to get crisper details, slimmer weapons and better proportions these days, they are less likely to break if you drop them, they are easier to convert and if your plastics are from multi-part sprues you often get a load of options to add a lot of variety onto your models.

The down side is they are lighter of course, which some people don't appreciate, and you have to spend time putting them together, which some people find a chore if they have to assemble a lot of them.
