Who do good 100year war minis?

Haven't seen Front Rank and Perry together, so can't comment on that.

I too will swear the Perry site, pre-modernization, listed the range as Crecy to Agincourt. Not being the most up on the period, I can't say if they are useable or not, but I would believe Invisible. That dude knows his stuff!

The plastics? Would they be useable?

Perry do make some of the best minis, period. Based on choice, I would move my gaming period to Agincourt to use their minis over others!

Perry and Front rank are not realy matching. I have Front Rank, Foundry and Old Glory in my Rose War army but the Front Rank guys are easily recognisable.
I have a lot of the Front Rank stuff and like the style but compared to the Perry range, not sure how to choose.

Haven't held a Front Rank mini, but from the pics, they seem pretty good; while the Perry miniatures are just superb.

The reason to all the sudden wanting to go Medieval is that I am reading the Grail trilogy
by Bernard Cornwell.
There are of cause the War of the roses figs from Perrys too.
I just dont know a lot about it.Plastics have there use dont they.
I also read that Perrys will come with mounted knights too.
So I might just go that road after all.

I think that the range was called, Agincourt to Orleans 1415-1429, but Perhaps they dropped that as the range now covers the later WotR ( that's wars of the roses, not anything involving orks period. But they are very lovely figures! And they are making plastic mounted men at arms.

In fact the Perry Plastic style War of the Rose infantry dress was worn in the later stages of the hundred years war. So you need three type for that war, early types with less white armour and a little chain left, medium time with early white armour and late time with modern white armour.

There you go! I have read a bit about the Wars of the Roses but really know almost nothing about the Hundred Years War.

I'm in the process of re-reading those and also watching Game of Thrones. Having a great deal of trouble resisting adding Mediaeval to my projects. Maybe after the WW2 stuff is done....

Correct - that was the old name with the maid of Orleans making it into a character set.

Archers, crossbowmen, mounted serjeants etc. are all fine for Crecy and can be supplemented by Claymore's new range (aimed at Otterburn etc.). The problem with the Perrys is with knightly armour. However, Foundry may still the twins' old sculpts of knights with barded mounts that match their own (later) minis.
