This thread is inspiring! Can't wait to see it finished and under siege.

Great work Mike. The template is a great idea.

Always been inspired by the series "By the Sword Divided" and the siege at the end. To me that series really showed the true character of the period.

I'll sometime in the future rebuild by Royalist and NMA for this event.

Cheers,

Helen

Thanks for the comments folks...

Did another 18 windows (the two side walls worth)... Then gave up to drool over my Pike and Shotte book. Photos tomorrow.

I hope you had a rag handy to remove the drool. :-)

I'm looking forward to mine when it arrives.

Cheers,

That model is a beauty. Are you going to put a cannonball hole in just like the original? ;)

@helen... I was very careful to avoid dripping on the book... Hope yours arrives quickly

@matt that is a great idea, might pop one in the roof!

Talented people make me  and  .

It does look good though....

Update...

All 65 windows are now done, plus the chimneys and roof details.

The back of the house:

The side

Next finishing the cornerstones and tiling the roof... Then slap some paint on!
