Roman Fort [WIP]

Postby Drumstick » Sun May 08, 2011 9:55 am

Hey folks, I'm new to the site and have only joined just recently. I bought my first box of Roman Legionaires last week and since then have been painting away furiously at them. I've finally finished my first legion, will be looking forward to buying another pack.Inbetween this I've been working on a small wooden fort for them. I wasn't sure if this was the right place to post, but if it's not an admin can move it I'm sure. It is mostly made out of balsa wood and insulation foamboard. I am rather pleased with the progress so far, but there is still quite a bit to do. I'll keep you updated if you wish on this project. Here are a few pictures below of the progress for you all:Anyway tell me what you think folks, any improvements or suggestionsare always helpful. Next steps are to add some ladders, steps and more details.EDIT: Sorry the pictures turned out rather strange, can anyone help me how to get them normally? without the mouse thingy and in a funny layout.

Ah I'm afraid it's slowly gathering dust in my room. I got to the early stages of painting it and that's as far as I got. Was busy with school and later on lost interest in the project. I suppose I should get it out and finished it off eh? I'd most likely sell it off on ebay after that if anyone was interested.

I agree be a shame to see such lovely work gathering dust :( I am sure you would sell it not a problem :)
Once you get them running, you can stay on top of them, and that way a small force can defeat a large one every time

Any word on it? I'd agree on the other statements. Don't want it gathering dust!

Keep working, we want to see it finished! You have some talent there, perhaps you have/had other things in the making too?
