Brilliant, love the wee porch thingy.

Walls are now painted with decoration...a thin blue stripe and a blue pig. Buying a card reader this weekend!
Question:
I've done two round houses for the celtic village.
I was thinking of doing some kind of grain store...rectangular and on stilts.
Is this 'celtic'
Any other suggestions really welcome to add some variety.

Hate to be a fly in the ointment...but the ancient Celts/Britons (Northern Europe as well) had underground grain storage pits/silos. Most were lined with clay or basketry. There is some evidence that the Celts of Southern Europe used raised, wattle and daub structures though! You could create a 'Grain Dryer' which was above ground.

To get the look I think your trying for, might I suggest a Celtic 'Broch', they are mainly from the Scottish areas, but there is some evidence that they were used in other parts of the Ancient world (there are some in the Biblical lands even). In other parts of the world they are known by other names though.

There is also the 'Castros', basically the same thing as 'Broch' but is more of a fort.

There are also other options, such as a common building/great hall, 'service' buildings that would include warehouses, lumber-mills as well as buildings/forges for smelters and ironsmiths (Celts were known for their metal work). You also have the sheds and pens for livestock and horse. To top it all off, don't forget a 'Crannog/Palisade'. You can also have a wooden watch tower - the Celts had these as stand alone structures or as part of a 'Crannog/Palisade'.

Some good reference sites are 'Butser Ancient Farm', 'St Fagans Celtic Village' and 'Keltendorf am Donnersberg'. One thing to note, the shape of the builds in general (round, square or rectangular) was determined on where in the world it was located - round being more common the further west one went (evidently) and square/rectangular more common the further east. HOWEVER, for gaming purposes I don't think it matters a whole bunch and it's know all three of these shapes where used all over the place!

St Fagans is cool, just down the road from me. It also has a very friendly pig.

I've never met a pig who was rasher.
