Mealie bag barricades

Postby CptJake » Thu Jan 19, 2012 11:06 am

I finished my mealie bag barricades and final redoubt from the Horns of the Buffalo set. I think they came out decently. I added some spent shell casings made from plastic rod which I think add a nice touch. Unfortunately I ran out of rod before I had as many as I wanted.

Nope, cheap flat brown spray paint base coat. Cheap off white craft paint drybush (pretty heavily applied). Wash made from cheap brown craft paint, water and Future floor cleaner/wax, followed by some very light dry brush of the same off white.

They look pretty darn realistic - amazing what you can do with "cheap" alternatives!

Lovely job there. I think that I'm going to steal the spent cases idea if you don't mind? :D
