WIP last celtic huts and re thatch BD style

Postby carvel2 » Sun Apr 08, 2012 10:47 pm

In the style of the recently departed BD a larger than life cartoon character is included in my pictures!
Inspired by Mikelands feverish work I undertook to complete Clive's celtic village and re thatch the gatehouse (originaly done with a shed load of superglue and bristles)
These two additional huts complete a set of buildings that should be big eonough to suggest a home for his hordes and be worthy of burning to the ground!
Happy so far..plenty to do still.
Happy Easter :D :D

Those are really nice!!!

I think its time to throw out all the spare pringles packets now...there are enough celtic huts now in my garage
@Mikeland...full village Wed night, with figures 'arranged' (read played with)
Happy accident with the hedge. Lichen plus saw dust after spraying with varnish!
the stakes are my attempt at wattle re used as uprights in a managed hedge ( Rendra wattle for me..cant wait!)

Looking fantastic, Carvel; the bushes are great, and like the way you used the cats. :) Prince Charles would be proud of your eco-village! ;) We'll get those boar in there for Asterix on Wednesday, though he looks pretty well-fed - must get me some of that magic potion!

Cant wait for the full village.
