I only ever use superglue and activator and learnt along time ago, by mistake, that when you've finished with it run the brush that you used the activator with (that's if you brush it on like me), over the top of the glue and it instantly dries every thing so that when you put the lid on it does stick. I've been doing this for years and the glue stays fine till it runs out. I use the really thick stuff, bought on bulk by a friend who used to work in a model sho, so it's quite cheap although not pound shop cheap!!

Well I have just bought another "bottle" of Super Glue Gel type thick glue. I can't cope without this stuff as I really need it for assembling tanks with. I see how I go on with it taking care not to get any glue outside the spout and get my unblocker pin stuck

I've been using something called Sure Drop glue for years, as my local model shop stocked it. You need to squeeze 2 buttons on the side to get the glue to come out which means it's fairly controlled and doesn't seem to glue itself shut like everything else I've used :D
