Celt Shields Pack

Postby wargame_insomniac » Mon May 28, 2012 1:36 pm

Hi

I can't see nay pictures up in webstore of the upgrade Celt Shields Pack. I have searched on this forum and could nt see any either. Can anyone please confirm what these shields look like. Are they simply more of the 4 shields inlcuded on the Celtic Warrior sprues?

Thanks very much

Can anyone help with either a photo or description of shields in Celt Shields upgrade pack. If they are the same as on the original Celt Warrior sprue then that is great and all I need to know.

Thanks very much

Sorry dude, not bought them... Would love to see the ancient Britons heads and shields sold seperately though!

Thanks Parus Ater- that means it is even more essential that I get a proper response as British shields are no use to me whatsoever, so there would be no pint in buying them. I need ones similar to that in the plastic sprue. If Warlord don't do them then I will have to look elsewhere.

The round ones are the sort of idea that are on the plastic sprue but "more" if you get me.

Quickest way is to phone them up in the morning. Helpful cheery chaps down at Warlord Towers.

Aye- just wish I had thought of this on Sunday when I was at Partizan and could have asked them directly. However did nt decide what i was going to do with my Celts until chatting in the car on the way home.

I recently ordered the Celt shield pack - there were 8 "Battersea"-type shields in it, but the rest were a mixture of the oval, round, square-ish and hexagonal shields, with two horse standards and two carynx. Parus' photo shows the Batterseas and the one or two which have some fancy work on the front. The rest are all pretty much the same as on the plastic sprues, though in metal, so the edge patterns, rims and the wood pattern on the back are much more detailed. The strips of heads included in the Brit cavalry or warriors have three lime-haired heads and one helmeted, and are great - a real pity they're not available separately.
