Says it ships Jan 2012. Any news on this? should I cancel my order and get it elsewhere?

Dont know if its right or not mate, but why not look at the exchange rate, buy it direct from Warlord, get your free centurion and support the firm?just my 2 pence

Chip, if my recent experience of Amazon"Pre-Orders" is anything to go by, you can expect to be given the chance to buy it sooner at a higher price! Wink

Good news… Update from a fellow Yank re: Hail Caesar's Amazon.com pre-order… "We have received new release date information related to the order youplaced on April 22 2011 (Order# ------------). The item(s) listed below will actually ship sooner than we originally expected based onthe new release date: Rick Priestley "HAIL CAESAR: Battles with Model Soldiers inthe Ancient Era"Previous estimated arrival date: January 06 2012 – January 112012New estimated arrival date: September 07 2011 – September 12 2011" I wouldn't be surprised to see this arrival date get moved up again. As much as I look forward to getting my hands on HC I'm in no rush. With my recent purchase of Black Powder and the slew of 8th Ed Warhammer Fantasy games my friends and I have planned this summer i'll have my hands too full to notice that HC won't be on my bookshelf before September.

On the Hail Caesar fan group in Yahoo, Paul recently confirmed that Warlord Games has not sold any copies of HC to Amazon. So it appears that Amazon has been taking pre-orders without having purchased any copies to date.
