Although most people think of it as a war between Yorkshie and Lancashire, it was more of a North South Divide. Great fun to play and easy to identify with one side or the other. My WOR force was built up when WAB first came out in the mid 90's, and I deliberately put in 2 different ASB's. One was Warwick, but the other was the Allen family crest. You can personlise units or armies to match your own viewpoint, and who can really say that you're wrong?

Looking forward to an opportunty to get them out again to HC as these strike me as ideal for this period.

Try "The Sunne in Splendour" - currently in my reading pile but recommended to me previously. You can pick it up cheaply

Or if you want play both sides, paint up your troops as Stanleys!

That was my idea! It helps that the Stanleys are (if family rumours are to be believed) ancestors of mine, and you get both father and son to choose from, so there's a nice easy 'expansion' option if you want your force to grow.
