With the new Plastic Caesarian Romans comming i was making an army list to see what i need but had some questions.

Making ceasar as my gerneral i was thinking to boost staff rating to 9 and give him an bonus of +5 attacks in stead of 3 of an normal general? Or is there an usefull rule for him or is that overkill?

I was also wondering if they would be usefull as rebulicans, as in hastati, prinicipes and triarii any thoughts about that?

In my games I normally give Caesar a leadership value of 9 and a fighting value of +5, just as you have suggested.

Also, rather than assign him to a division I usually field Caesar as commander-in-chief, so that he may join any division, or none, as needed.
