in the black powder book there are 2 rifled weapons listed  rifled carbines and rifled muskets which one of these would be the baker rifle used by the rifle regiments?

The rifled musket would be closest to the Baker Rifle.  Carbines are typically shorter & lighter than muskets, meant for cavalry and train (wagaon-master) troops, whether 'rifled' or not.

I would treat as rilfled musket to give the rifles a longer range than smoothbore armed troops.
