Richmond 1862

Postby Piers » Thu Aug 11, 2011 9:36 pm

Last Friday we re-fought the battle of Richmond... Very tense games and it seesawed either way, thanks to a ferocious Indiana rearguard that tore the guts out of two Confederate brigades. In the end the Rebels won the day but its was a close run thing...

I'm agreein' with Mikeland. Fantastic stuff. I'm working on some Confederates nyself, and your stuff is very inspirational. Which manufacturer(s) did you use?

The Rebs are from a variety of places all mixed up!

Redoubt, Perry, Foundry, Renegade and Sash & Sabre all made it in!

We are in the process of planning a very big (for us) ACW game, hoping to break the 1000 28mm figures limit which aint a bad sized game for four blokes in rural Ireland! LOL!

Stunning. Thank you for the inspiration. I have some Perry ACW on order and I now I really can't wait to start my Yanks and Rebs.

Really impressive! I myself play 15mm ACW, buthve asoft spot or the Perry figs... Any chance of an army list for this battle?
