A friend sent me a copy of Black Powder soon after it was released, and once we started playing them it didn't take long for us to get hooked! Our group, the West Tokyo Wargamers have been using the rules for well over six months now, and really enjoy the rules a lot. We can only game about once a month, and the fact that the games always reach a clear conclusion, with the mechanics being easily picked up by new players, is a real plus. We are currently into Napoleonics in 28mm, but have some other projects on the horizon, too.
We usually play with about three brigades a side, but this past Sunday we had a small game with one side of no more than four units. It provided an unexpectedly tense and long game, and the "fog of war" built into the rules really came into their own.

The scenario was set in the Pyrenees in 1813. You can read a report on the battle in two parts here.
