The cavalry battle was on the 14th October.

We were fighting the part of the greater Leipzig battle that took place on the 16th October. The section of the battle that the scenario was based on was fought over the same ground as the famous cavalry battle from 2 days before.

Leipzig is a battle that can conveniently be broken down into several much more manageable sections. We had scenario scripted events that took account of what might be happening in other parts of the wider battle.

Excellent write up, what an astounding looking table! Great collection of miniatures too.
