That's just the 28mm stuff, I'm not even going to start on the other scales.

That looks ace!

Should have said that it was an ace game despite me losing 20 to 8 my biggest loss ever in our round of 500 point games selected from our army lists

Guys in your blackpowder battles are you only using the main rule set or have you added your own ammendments to give it a specific napoleonic feel? how long do your games take and do you use any terrain generator -so you have some but not too much -we game on a9x5 table

Hi Peter,

We play on anything from 12ft by 8 ft (big Games, most recent being Quatra Bras) to 6ft by 4ft which is the standard size game for our 500 points 'competition' type game (still all very friendly) we have a terrain generator that scrivs sorted. I sorted the army lists and special rules for each army that have been play tested and work well. The games are fought over 8 turns and last a couple of hours. We have a simple scoring system 2 points for breaking a standard unit 1 point for a small etc. Really Really fun approach to Napoleonics. We are holding a mini tourney at Maelstrom early April which I am sure Scrivs will do a write up on

Hi Peter, The bad news is that the lists and rules are for the books , but the good news is that they are coming soon, the first Albion Triumphant looks at the struggle in the Peninsular and has list for Anglo Portuguese, French and Spanish. It also includes how to get foreign troops in the French lists as well as shaking up column v line combats a little. This will be followed by the 100 days campaign which brings with it the Anglo Netherlands list, another French list and book at the Prussians. I am working on the third at the moment ( I call it Of Empire and Eagles) this brings the best of the rest into play from 1792 onwards and has loads and loads of special rules, lists and game ideas. The special rules in the main bring in national characteristics, some thing I grew up with being a massive fan of Bruce Quarrie,

they are coming soon and I cannot wait

ady :D
