Command figs from Box Sets

Postby potter » Thu Aug 26, 2010 4:33 pm

Okies, here goes...

Just as the title suggests, are any of the (metal) command figs from the boxed sets available to purchase seperately?

Things is, I really like the unit Captain/Commander from the Firelocks set, and could do with one as a Captain of Foote in my Covenanters unit.

Already have one for my firelockes, so could do with another...just incase...

So, any chance of making chaps such as this available seperately as has been done with the Highlanders and Irish figs?

Cheers Smile

Command figs from Box Sets

Actually I don't really mind spending 12 quid for the whole Firelock Storming Party box to get those 2 splendid command figures (as I did) when I think of what I used to spend on GWs character miniatures...

And those extra plastic bits are always useful for conversions anyways Cool.

But it would still be a nice move to release them sperately with the box out for quite a while now.

Cheers

I like the box, in fact bought one as Firelockes and have more from the Battalia (they're going to be Scots when I get round to doing them), I just really like the metals with them alot.

The Captain/Commanding officer is probably one of me fave metals so far tbh, though the Fire & Brimstone 'Preacher with Book' & Ranter are up there as well.

My Ranter's now a Dragoon thats 'gone abit funny', with the horrors of war and all that...

Mind you, the Trooper standing firing from the Petard team set is pretty spiffing too...oh dear have I started a new thread now? Innocent
