My experience is that the people who have issues with it do not care for the abstractions in the game.

After playing it for a while, I find the abstractions do seem odd on first read, but they work out after you've played a few games and find that really do give similar results with a lot less fuss.

One of the best Platoon level games out there.

allot of people I know have said the game is far too bloody to be realistic, then when you delve deeper into there past gaming they admit to only ever playing 40k, so they play the same way, with no terrain and in gunlines, if you play like that then yes its bloody and stupid, if you play with proper amounts of terrain that blocks LOS, gives loads of cover etc, you have grueling close quarter fire fights and lots of lovely tank stalking action.

like all rules it has problems, but thats up to you as players to fix together to suit you better (like tank aquisition, and howaircraft come on the board), but as a base point it works fine
It has been made very clear by members and Paul I am not welcome on this forum because I don't bend over and agree with everything warlord does.

Unfortunately I don't care what any of you think...at all.
