Wilm – to answer your question, Black Powder is a Brigade-based game, not skirmish based, so you'll need a good few models. You can have smaller games, but I'd say 3 infantry battalions, 1 cavalry and 1 artillery battery are an absolute minimum.

Back on track – “Nein, not more sauerkraut. Can't ve just haf Super Noodles for once?”

Sauerkraut

"You're a big man, but you're in bad shape. With me, it's a full time job." – Lt. Bromhead to Prince Dabulamanzi before the Battle of Rorke's Drift.

Thank You Cupster! That's not too bad, I was a little afraid that I have to paint ( and buy!! ) figures by the boat load before I can play. Room is also a concern.

Thanks ,

Wilm

Good morning,

I deleted my mail because I first thought that General Lee was from GB and still ticked about the outcome of the soccer game Germany and Great Britain, but then saw that he hails from the Netherlands. So I felt stupid for not noticing that… and cut it out. I was a little tired from waiting for the newsletter Paul promised us…. . Sorry for the bad grammar!! ;-) )I was hoping for a new release of AWI or SYW tough..I have all the WW2 I can handle. ( but might try the WW2 plastics anyways!!) Any news for SYW?? Comme on Paul , gve us a hint (hint!! not another teaser!!)

Thanks guys.

Remember, General Lee, that the majority of the soldiers in these photos are just men, fighting a war that was out of their hands. I doubt you'd have reacted the same way to British soldiers dicking around, which they no doubt did too. We're all the same, which is the great tragedy of war.

Run (the world) Adolf, Run! (the world!)

Take car. Go to Mum's. Kill Phil - "Sorry." - grab Liz, go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over. How's that for a slice of fried gold?

Goering: "Ahh what a beautiful day in the third reich. The sun is bright, the breeze is cool. Life is far too short to miss out on days like this."

Hitler: "How right you are, mein camerade."

Crocodile emerges from pond and starts to devour Goering.

Hitler: (deep voice) "You have failed me for the last time, Hermann."

Pardon me, Julius! Here wast thou bay'd, brave hart;
Here didst thou fall; and here thy hunters stand,
Sign'd in thy spoil, and crimson'd in thy lethe.
- Julius Caesar, Act 3 Scene 1
