No worries just looking forward to seeing them painted up.

BAM in boxes

Postby goose » Sat Dec 05, 2009 5:27 pm

Paul, picked up a box or two of the new paras in the new boxes today at Pudsey show.
Art work etc looks nice, BUT please, please, please, pretty please.. put some foam in with the figures inside the plastic divided trays.

The figures just rattle around loosely and wind up with lots of bent parts. Usually gun barrels which don't take straightening too much.

I have to say I am now loathed to order any such boxes off the web store now, knowing the likley hood of severe damage is high as they are in transit with the present packaging. I will stick to getting them off the stands or traders where I can open the boxes and visually check in future before I pay. I didn't do that with the ones I bought today, but boy do I wish I had now. I have a lot of carefull straightening ahead of me, which just frustrating and I know chances are a barrel will break here or there.

Great figures, nice looking boxes, wish they included a second squad too to make a playable RoE force, but dire protection for the loose figures I am afraid imho. A layer of foam below and onto to stop them rattling about and would be perfect.

(PS bought off another trader selling the BAM range, not Warlord them selves who were not trading there).

Well, funny you should say that as we'll be showing off some of our new Waffen-SS miniatures in the next couple of weeks all being well...

Next up as a boxed set will be Italian Paratroopers though.

Cheers,

Paul
