KGN at least limits somewhat the numbers of Tigers you can stick on the table. And a healthy dollop of bocage tends to level the playing field - figuratively speaking....

Agreed - and any set of WW2 rules that allows the opponent to regularly drive through a AT matrix without you being able to fire a shot isn't worth the paper it's written on. The only good thing about FoW is that it has aided to move of some young players into historical gaming - otherwise it is pants.

KGN, however, is one of the best sets of WW2 rules I've come across in while :D

KGN, is quite good, especially for larger games.

Some of the best arty/air support rules I've seen.

Easy to teach/play.

Really hoping the forthcoming Bolt Action rules are somewhat similar, optimised for 28mm. The sheer cost and size of 28mm tends to limit you yo platoon level games in KGN.

Hence my choice of 15mm. The BA stuff does look lovely though. I may be tempted to some for a few vignettes.
