German Army North West Europe 1944

I recently bought a box of 11 of Falschurmjagers and was wandering what would be the best way of expanding my force. I was either thinking of Normandy or Market Garden.

Buying another squad plus this

... will give you a platoon at 1:1 plus a mortar.

Adding MG42 team, tank hunters and perhaps Pak40 will give you pretty good options for any platoon skirmish system out there

hi im doing the same at the moment, first up was german paras. my basic company is under strength which is 8 x 10 man squads, 2 x hq sections, 3 x 81mm mortars, 3 x anti tank guns ( bolt action 3 variants). i then added 3 x 10 man squads, 1 x 10 man hq section, 1 heavy machine gun, 1 x flak gun mounted on truck, this lot are painted as air force ground support. the tanks ive got are 3 x stugs, 3 x tiger 1s. next on the list is a panther and 4 x panzer 4s. these were painted for normandy.

the next ones painted where 6 x 10 man squads, 2 x 10 man hq sections, 3 x 81mm mortars. these are bolt action ss figures, i still need to add anti tank weapons to the squads so will by 10 figs with anti tank weapons giving me a another section.

i still have 1 x char b 3 x somua 1 x panhard armoured car to paint, but not sure which way to paint it, i mean for the germans in normandy, or my early french. the choice for late war with the germans is great, painting them as their is such a great choice of paint schemes. hope you enjoy your project and have fun?????
