 I think there was an article in Wargames Illustrated on how to model explosions ... with dog parts ...

Thanks for the input, too. I am pretty much settled on F-series org, as my Japanese are somewhat late, too.

Going to need to order some additional troops to make up my platoon. I also found some really cool pics of M4A3 with interesting camo, from Iwo Jima.

Yep i would go with the F series as well with a few extras. That way you can have your squads broken up into fire groups very effective i would have thought :D You didnt mention if you had a flame thrower model or not.I would try to include one if you havent. Just to persuade those hard to remove japs in their bunkers to think otherwise 8-)
Once you get them running, you can stay on top of them, and that way a small force can defeat a large one every time

I've got one. I will add it as a platoon level asset.

And now that I have them organized ...

What rules to use until BA: WW2 come out? Does Disposable Heroes Point Blank contain Pac Theatre options? The website doesn't look like it, but it's not a great site.

Hey Grant, Point Blank uses the same soldier, weapon and tank stats from the Disposable Heroes core game. So you would need to buy the Red Sun Red Death supplement for the Pacwar. Point Blank is a squad game, ten figures approx per side, plus maybe a vehicle or HMG if you want to use them. Disposable Heroes is platoon sized games. Highly recommend both, but yeah, you will need that supplement.

Perfect. My semi-local shop (only 150km away!) has the Red Sun supplement. But strangely not Point Blank. So I'll have to order it from IronIvan.

Cheers!

Game on!
