How the &*#@! does the Chi-Ha ANTENNA mount??????

Postby grant » Sat Nov 12, 2011 12:22 am

Ok. I have built a LOT of kits over the years. Never have I had the #^%!$!*!*@#@#@#*#$* frustration that I am experiencing with the Chi-Ha antenna.

1. It's made out of buttery-soft pewter. WHY? I am 100% certain that Warlord could have cast the blasted thing out of resin, or a composite and that way...

IT WOULD HAVE FIT!

(edited. Angry subsided. Hulk did not smash tank. )

I suggest soft lighting and red wine. Make it feel special.

Perhaps even try some Barry white?

LOL. Nicely played!

I just spent less time than figuring out to to fix the crummy piece of kit, and made a new one out of brass rod. So much easier!

Hi Grant. May I suggest you e-mail Paul and let him know about the antenna.

There are a number of good diagrams around showing the antenna. If you need some links please let me know.

Thanks Helen! After I settled down, I went to Google and figured it out, and then made a nice sturdy antenna out of brass rod - all sorted and ready for primer!
