There IS a comparison of VFM and BAM here, along with loads of others.

As for the lack of updates- it's down to me having had a minor stroke, and getting back into the swing of things on the site hasn't been top priority. I can also add that I had to pay for most of the figures myself, and some are either impossible to get, or are not a theatre I'm interested in (so I wouldn't buy them as I couldn't use them), which is a further limiting factor. I am, however, in the process of redesigning and updating the website slowly, so it will be refreshed at some point.

Thank you, all. I'm well on the way to recovery (I was very lucky and it was minor)- the main problem is just motivation. I'm having a hard time getting myself interested in wargaming again. I've done the odd bit of work for others in wargaming, but my own stuff is just sitting on the workbench/painting table.
