Welcome to the forums Sir.

Lovely work on the flintlock, I like the green coat a lot.

Shame it is a Royalist! Wink

Keep up the great work and please share some pictures as you progress.

For God and Parliament!

Cheers

c'est magnifique ;-) great job well done

now I'm irish and awaiting those irish confederation troops to beat cromwell-so guys any irish troop plans lol

im from waterford an old norse irish town/city it has a norman round tower built by strongbow still extant .built as the normans expanded out from wexford.the ECW link is as cromwell came over to kick rebellious irish butt he laid siege to waterford.but silly guys they camped across the river in the marshes and set up their camp /siege artillery etc then bingo disease struck so they had to up sticks n move on.I digress -like a ronnie corbett meandering tale here ;-)) the reason i mentioned is that the norman round tower callled reginalds tower by the way has several pices of parlimentarian shot burried in its walls and roof from the siege.phew im done

Great job there mate and welcome to the forum.

Are you planning on doing an army?

If so, what were you thinking, I know you are doing Royalist as SP pointed out but any special themes etc?

Thank you everybody! i'am happy that you like it^^ Firstly, I would like to say that: I'am not a Royalist^^I'm both of them^^

In fact, I'am painting a Harad army for the Lotr miniatures game and of course I'm using a lot of red colour paint^^ It is little boring^^

So I wanted to change colour scheme, not painting a New Model Army's figure but a Royalist one.

I'am using Games Workshop's colour paints and few Vallejo Model Color (white and black were used for this figure).

I'am planning to field an army of 750pts for Warhammer ECW but unfortunately, not yet because I have too many figures to paint! But, in a next future of course. special themes? 'am totally crazy about the Warlord's new figure of Prince Rupert of the Rhine! what a awesome one! So, maybe the Rupert's order of battle...

I will thinking about it. How bout you?

I have just finished assembling a Gondorian Army for LOTR. And still working on my romans. I have literally only had 3 hours of modelling/painting time in the last 6 months - but i am on holidays now and more than making up for it - much to the disgust of the wife.

I still have 3 units of legionaries to finish painting and a unit of archers and slingers, before i can contemplate moving on - that and the gondorians soo many infantry.

Cheers,

Jim

My first steps in ECW

Postby Kushikatsu » Fri Jun 18, 2010 4:13 pm

Hi there,

It's a little bit that I didn't put something new on the forum. I was ver busy painting lots of different figures like a Mûmak for LOTR, Vampire Counts… So Kushikatsu, what's new for ECW?

The things I want to show you is a WIP (almost finish) of the Earl of Essex Warlord's amazing figure! I will finish it tomorow (just need a coat of varnish and put some static grass on the base) if the weather let me do it^^

Here we are with the picture :

http://ptitesgurines.canalblog.com/archives/2010/06/18/18350085.html

After that, I must paint some Chaos Warmaster minis and some Skeletons for Warhammer Battle but, the next ECW Figure I really want to paint is the Prince Rupert of the Rhine.

ps : I'am waiting some Warlord's stuff like the Battalia Army Box!! I will assemble and start paiting them soon when I'll received it!

Very nice work indeed.
